3 Mile Trip on the Mohican River
The Perfect Mini Float!Mohican Adventures offers a wonderful short river trip on the Mohican River. Take the whole family with you on a leisurely float downstream, and have time for mini golf afterwards! The trip starts in Loudonville and flows downstream to our wooden dock just outside the main office. This 3-mile trip takes 1-2 hours in a canoe or kayak, 2-3 hours in a raft, and 2-4 hours in a tube.

Sunday-Friday Pricing: $25 per person*
Saturday/Holiday Sunday Pricing: $35 per person*
*Pricing is based on minimum boat occupancy (1 in a single kayak, 2 in a canoe/double kayak, 3 in a raft). Children 10 & under ride free in the middle of two people in a canoe, or with three other paying people in the same raft.*

Good to Know
In ideal conditions, the Mohican river is a class 1 river, which is as easy as it gets – however, when water levels rise conditions can become dangerous to new paddlers and children. Please check our daily river conditions chart before starting your trip.
Our river trips are very popular on weekends and holidays. If you are planning to tube during this time, be sure to expect a crowd. Please be respectful of other boaters on the river. We always recommend floating during the week for a more peaceful family trip.
This trip, on average, takes 1-3 hours. Please be prepared by packing lots of water, snacks, & sunscreen. Times that we give are estimates, and can change depending on water level.
NO styrofoam coolers or glass permitted on the river. Please bring a garbage bag with you to place trash in during your trip. Help keep our river beautiful!
You may take as long on the trip as you would like, as long as you are in by the last due in time. Last due in time is 6pm in May/September, 5pm in April/October and 7pm Memorial Day-Labor Day. There will be a $30 per boat late fee for any boats past last due in time.
